Tiny toddlers of SMD Little Champs School, Sector 2 Panchkula under the aegis of their school’s program – ‘Babies Day Out’ visited Govt. Museum & Art Gallery, Sector 10 Chandigarh. A total of 20 students led by School Principal Mrs. Nivedita Vig had a close encounter with Indian History and Fossils. The remarkable feature of the visit was the witnessing the massive replica of Dinosaur which they saw very first time. Teachers briefed the kids about the fossils period especially the dinosaurs. Kids were also told about Lord Budha, Goddess idols, terracotta and other displayed things. Later, they went to Child Art Gallery where they saw the painting made by students of other schools. They had a good time with puppets, cartoon characters and masks. Naresh Gupta, Director, SMD Little Champ School said, “The kids feel happy to have such kind of exposures outside the class and continue to initiate such more programs under ‘Babies Day Out’
