An encounter has once again taken place between terrorists and the army in Baramulla. Three terrorists have been killed in this and the army has surrounded the entire area. Security forces have killed three terrorists in Baramulla. Two soldiers were martyred in Kishtwar in an encounter taking place at two places.
Indian Army’s Chinar Corps posted on a post saying, Operation Chak Tapper Baramulla Based on specific intelligence about the presence of terrorists, a joint operation was launched by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police in the Chak Tapper Kreeri area of Baramulla on the intervening night of 13-14 September 24. Firing started from both sides. The operation is ongoing. This encounter has taken place two days after the army killed two Pakistani terrorists belonging to the Jaish-e-Mohammed organization in the upper reaches of Basantgarh in Udhampur district.
According to the information, apart from Baramulla, the encounter with terrorists is still going on in Kishtwar and the security forces have taken charge of the front. Firing started again from both sides in Baramulla early in the morning. It is believed that some terrorists are hiding in a building located in a garden in Chak Tapper area of Police Sub Division Pattan. Army and Jammu Kashmir Police personnel are continuously searching for the terrorists and have killed three terrorists so far.
Earlier on Friday evening, based on a secret information in Kishtwar, the security forces cordoned off the Naidgham area of Chatru area and started a search operation, during which the encounter took place. The soldiers came face to face with the terrorists and the encounter started at around 3:30 pm. During this, two soldiers were martyred. The martyred soldiers have been identified as Naib Subedar Vipan Kumar and Sepoy Arvind Singh. At the same time, two other soldiers have been injured, who are being treated at Udhampur Army Hospital.
