Jammu and Kashmir :Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has expressed condolences to the families of the army and police personnel who sacrificed their lives in the Doda encounter. He said that we will definitely avenge the martyrdom of the soldiers. The Lieutenant Governor said, ‘I am deeply saddened to learn about the cowardly attack on our army personnel and JKP personnel in Doda district. Tributes to the brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice while protecting our country.
My deepest condolences to the members of the bereaved families.’ Said, ‘We will avenge the death of our soldiers and foil the nefarious designs of terrorists and their collaborators. I call upon the people to unite in the fight against terrorism and provide us with accurate information so that we can intensify anti-terrorism operations and put an end to the terrorist ecosystem.’
Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi said, ‘Our soldiers were martyred in a terrorist encounter again in Jammu and Kashmir. Paying humble tribute to the martyrs, I express my deepest condolences to the bereaved families. Such horrific incidents happening one after the other are extremely sad and worrying.’ He further said, ‘These continuous terrorist attacks are revealing the poor condition of Jammu and Kashmir. Our soldiers and their families are bearing the brunt of BJP’s wrong policies.
It is the demand of every patriotic Indian that the government should take full responsibility for the repeated security lapses and take strict action against the culprits of the country and the soldiers. In this hour of grief, the entire country stands united against terrorism.
