Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit India on June 21 on a two-day visit. Its aim is to further strengthen the strategic relations between the two countries. A US Congressional delegation, including US House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Michael McCaul and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, will arrive in Dharamsala next week to meet Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama.
The US Congress this month passed a law for the peaceful resolution of the dispute over the status and governance of Tibet, calling on Beijing to resume talks with the Dalai Lama.
