On International Women’s Day, as many as 200 girl students from various city colleges, driven by a strong sense of purpose and action came together to create an inclusive community of women.The girls, all donned in Pink Turbans, pledged to empower not only themselves but other women as well and to continue their efforts and conversations all along through volunteering and social action. An endeavor, by Yuvsatta (an NGO), girl students from DevSamaj College of Education, Sector 36B, Dev Samaj College for Women, Sector 45B and Government Home Science College, Sector 45B joined forces to make this effort as big as possible.
